Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how you can delete your personal data and account from FleckCal. We are committed to honoring your right to data deletion and will process all requests in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

What Data Can Be Deleted

The following data associated with your account can be deleted:

  • Account information (name and email address)
  • All events you have created (titles, descriptions, dates, locations, meeting links)
  • All invitee records (names, phone numbers, email addresses, RSVP status)
  • All saved contacts (names, phone numbers, email addresses, notes)
  • All tasks and projects
  • All calendar sync data and connections (Google Calendar and/or Outlook)
  • All notification logs and email records
  • Any usage data associated with your account

Option 1: Delete Your Account In-App

You can permanently delete your entire account and all associated data directly within the FleckCal app:

  1. Tap your profile icon (your initial) at the bottom of the sidebar (or top-left on mobile).
  2. Tap "Delete Account" in the menu.
  3. Confirm by typing DELETE in the confirmation dialog.
  4. Tap "Delete My Account" to permanently remove all data.

You can also find this option in Settings → Account & Privacy → Delete Account.

Account deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Option 2: Delete Individual Data

You can delete specific data at any time directly within FleckCal:

  • Delete an event: Open the event, tap the trash icon in the event editor.
  • Delete an invitee: Open the event, tap the trash icon next to the invitee's name.
  • Delete a contact: Go to the Contacts page, tap the trash icon on the contact card.
  • Disconnect a calendar: Use the disconnect button in the Google or Outlook sync panel in Settings.

WhatsApp Data

If you have received event invitations via WhatsApp and wish to stop receiving messages, reply "STOP" to any message from us. To request deletion of any data we hold related to your WhatsApp number, use the in-app account deletion described above, or contact us at the email below with your phone number.

Calendar Provider Data

Disconnecting your Google Calendar or Outlook calendar within FleckCal removes the connection and stops data syncing. Events that were already synced to your external calendar remain on that calendar — to remove them, delete them directly in Google Calendar or Outlook.
